Our Mission
At Mendo LEAP, we believe that every child deserves the chance to play, regardless of age, size, or ability. Our mission is to provide families, specialists, and social workers with a clean, safe, and unique space to promote growth-through-play. Our goal is to serve as an outlet for all those who care for or work with children through access to our therapeutic and educational play equipment to achieve their objective. We also plan to contribute to the tourist economy of the region with our Mendocino County Themed interactive play exhibits!
We are in search of the perfect property/facility to build The Mendo LEAP Adaptive Play Center Campus. Your membership and support of our grassroots effort will propel us forward as we search, plan and rally community support.

Is a Membership right for me?
What is a membership?
Memberships are designed to ease the burden on families by offering an unlimited play option for one low monthly prepayment. (Does not include Maker Space Access.)
Who can I purchase a membership for?
Memberships are reserved just for direct dependents. However, you may gift a membership to someone else’s direct dependents. But a separate membership is required for separate household dependents. For example, you want to purchase a membership for your grandchildren. You would need to purchase a membership for your daughters 2 children and then a separate membership for your sons one child. You cannot purchase a family membership that applies to all three of your grandchildren.
What if my sister and her kids live with me? We are all in the same household? Can I include them in my family membership since Im the one that will be bringing them?
Even if someone elses children live with you, they still need a separate membership and cannot be included in your family membership or double membership.
You cant prove these kids aren’t my dependents or from separate families so I’m going to sign up for a family membership.
We have the right to refuse/revoke anyones membership at any time and for any reason without refund. The burden of proof is on you not us. We will go out of business very fast if people try to take advantage of our kindness by deceiving us in how they use their membership. Family memberships are for those who have 3 of more children of their own. The same goes for double memberships.
What if Im a nanny/daycare and I have 6 kids dependent on me? Can’t I sign up for a family membership?
We cannot accommodate that situation right now. Maybe in the future we will be able to have daycare/nanny memberships. But as of right now we do not offer a membership for situations like that.
Can anyone bring the child on the membership to play?
Yes, anyone can bring your child to play on your child’s membership.
What is the ‘fine print’?
Can I alternate which child uses my membership?
Memberships are for the specific child, not the adult. So you cannot use a membership on a different child than the one you originally signed up for.
What is the cost?
Prices are listed above. We do have a one time initiation fee of $25 that will be included in your first payment. This fee will not be charged in any subsequent months of your membership.
How can I pay for my membership
Memberships are automatically billed monthly via the card you register with. If you would like to pay with cash or check you may come in and do that in person any time and we will adjust the account to not automatically bill that next month. However we do require the card stay on file and it will be automatically charged unless you come in and pay with cash or check again.
What is the commitment?
We do require a 3 month commitment to start out with. We only charge your card 1 month at a time but we ask you not to sign up unless you know you can do at least 3 months. After 3 months you can cancel anytime.
What is your Liability policy?
By signing up on our website you are agreeing to our waiver of liability which means that you understand that you are responsible for your child’s safety in our facility and if your child gets hurt you will not hold us liable for the incident. We have done our due diligence to make our facility as safe as possible. But safe play in how your child uses our equipment and how close attention you pay to your child while they are in our facility is up to you. We are not a daycare and do not take responsibility for you or your child’s safety while you/they are utilizing our facility.

Lock in Price!
By signing up for a membership you get the benefit of locking in the current price of the membership! So when membership pricing inevitably goes up you can rest assured that we will never raise the price of your membership on you as long as your membership is current and active.

When does my membership start
Memberships start from the date of sign up. Not from the date you start using the membership.
Can I really bring my child everyday?
You can use your membership as often as you like. You can come every day if you like! You get 2 hours a day! Which means that you can break that up in the day too. For example, you can come for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. Any unused hours a day don’t carry over into the next day. There is no minimum amount of time you can come. So you can stop in to play for 30 minutes between errands or for 10 minutes before or after shopping. The possibilities are endless!
How will I know when you are closed for private events?
You can use your membership anytime during our “Open Play Hours”. Those hours do sometimes change monthly. As we are a new business, we adjust hours as we discover when is the best open play hours are. But I do not typically schedule private events within those hours. Typically private events occur on Saturday and Sunday evenings after we close. I Keep our website calendar up to date so you can always pop on here and check the calendar or call us to check.
I’m going on vacation, can I pause my membership for a month?
Yes, you can pause your membership. You will need to contact us and explain your situation. We can do that 1 time for you for 1 month. After that or for any longer then that you will need to cancel your membership and just sign back up again when you come back.
How do I cancel my membership?
After your 3 month commitment you may cancel anytime. You can do so by following the link in the payment reminder email that comes 7 days before each billing cycle. Or you can contact us and we will cancel for you. Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Memberships are nonrefundable.
Side Effects of Cancelling
If you cancel your membership you are forfeiting the price of your membership. that means that if you choose to get a membership again in the future you will have to pay whatever the most current price of memberships is at that time. You will also need to pay the initiation fee again if you decide to get another membership in the future.
